One of the non-profit NGO (Non-Government Organization) came to us and asked us to build an eTools for blinds which can help them in their day to day life. We built an Image Processing System which can detect objects and say in earphone.
iTrivedi provided a custom software solution that can detect objects in images and speak to the headphones of the visually impaired people.
We built an Image Processing System for visually blind people. The main idea was to help blinds using technological advancement and make their life easy for living. The simple solution we applied includes a custom software that process images, identify objects and speak names of objects in earphones.
Technology we used: For this project, we used Raspberry PI 3B+ as a hardware device with Camera module and Python 3.8 for main programming language for image processing. We tarined our model using Tensorflow 2.0 and OpenCV 4.0 over thousands of images. End result was a system that can detect Faces, Objects and recognize Hand Gestures in images and speak to the haadphones of the visually impaired people.
